Communities Promoting Health Coalition
CPHC works to create opportunities for health among all those who live, work and play in our 14-town region. We serve the western Cumberland County towns of Baldwin, Bridgton, Cape Elizabeth, Casco, Gorham, Harrison, Raymond, Scarborough, Sebago, South Portland, Standish, Westbrook and Windham.
We work to reduce tobacco use, to increase physical activity, to promote healthy eating, to prevent underage drinking and substance abuse, and to raise awareness of public health.
We strive for sustainable policies, systems and environmental-level changes. To get there, we provide capacity and technical assistance to local stakeholders, including community groups, non-profit agencies, schools, child cares, law enforcement agencies, hospitals and healthcare providers and youth.

Communities Promoting Health Coalition receives funding from the Maine Center for Disease Control and Prevention, the Maine Health Access Foundation, Maine's Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services (SAMHS), the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), the United States Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) and the United Way of Greater Portland.
